The HASD&IC Annual Meeting is a unique opportunity to engage with colleagues, community partners, governmental leaders, and special guests for a day of connecting, networking, and learning. This year as we prepare for significant cuts to Medicaid and other vital health programs, we also give voice to our dedicated health care professionals and the communities whose trust we have earned. This is the time and place to lean on each other and share our experiences, to learn and be inspired, and look ahead in the ever-evolving health care landscape.

Learning Objectives/Outcomes apply to all professions.

Learning Outcome Statement: Upon completing this program, 80% of participants who complete the program evaluation will attest to their intention to identify opportunities for improved collaboration and communication among hospitals, counties, and managed care plans to address regional behavioral health needs within 60 days.

To obtain credit and a certificate of completion, learners must complete a program evaluation.

1. Analyze the financial and policy implications of federal reforms (e.g., H.R. 1, ACA changes) on California hospitals.
2. Explore the impact of federal and state policies on supplemental payment programs, payer contracting, and reimbursement sustainability.
3. Examine financial pressures facing different hospital types (academic, critical access, rural, community, independent).
4. Identify strategies and innovations for financial resilience, operational efficiency, and advocacy.
5. Strengthen leadership and governance capacity to anticipate, manage, and communicate policy changes.

The Doctors Company is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical educational activities for physicians. The Doctors Company designates this activity for a maximum of 1.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.
